HAMILTON, Ohio- A Cincinnati Bengals fan was suspended for his haircut. Dustin Reader got the Bengals’ team stripes and a “B” insignia cut into his hair to support the team through their season. When he went to school in the southwest Ohio city, officials put the eighth-grader into in-school suspension. The school claimed that its code of conduct prohibits extreme hairstyles.

The boy’s parents and barber said they didn’t understand why the haircut was considered extreme because they just wanted to show their pride for their favorite team. School officials said he will continue to do his studies away from other students until the hair grows back or he changes the style.
