Police Find Partially Mummified Body in St. Anthony Home

ST. ANTHONY, MN- A partially mummified body of a woman was found in a St. Anthony house filled with garbage. 61-year-old John Allen Knutson was arrested following the find.

Knutson who has been battling mental illness for decades has a long record of breaking neighbors’ windows, verbalizing threats, and damaging a Schwan’s delivery truck.

Police were called to the scene after neighbors described an odor coming from the house. Authorities had to wear special suits to enter the house where they found the remains of a decomposed 58-year-old woman. The partially mummified body was believed to be Dolly Koch. Authorities were not aware of signs of foul play.
