ST. CLOUD, MN- A St. Cloud man was caught on Saturday morning after St. Cloud police tried to stop him from driving the wrong way on Highway 23.
Anthony Philip Voigt, 27, neglected to stop for police and went on to drive at a high speed which led St. Cloud police in a 6.7 mile chase. His vehicle then got stuck in a field and he fled on foot until he was captured and arrested.
Over the course of Voigt’s chase, some street signs and three residential yards were damaged but there were no injuries or damage to the squad cars.
Voigt has a record consisting of DWI and fleeing with a motor vehicle charges.
