It’s about time a good R&B album is being put out on the music store shelves and the new Mario album titled “D.N.A.” just managed to do it.

Mario started his music career when he met Clive Davis.

Since then, he has released three albums and now has released his fourth album “D.N.A.”
This album is particularly different from his previous albums, with a little fresh style and keeping his R&B roots on the music game.

“Break up” is a track for the younger generations that just want to have fun.

It is based on a similar lyric concepts of R. Kelly “I’m a Flirt” having similar singing and rap vocals. The song has a groove or dance feeling to it.

Another meaningful song is “Thinkin’ about you.” It contains more complicated music creation compared to Break Up.

The song is based on an experience after breaking up with a woman, he wanted to be with her again and that’s what this song is about.

Drum rolls and cymbals sounds on the phrase “Thinkin about you” give a strong emphasis to it.

The album also shows a more personal and private side of him, as he exposes personal beliefs, stories and a portion of his life’s tales in the songs.

“Soundtrack to My Broken Heart” shows this exactly and is dedicated to his past girlfriends or loves.

“Crying Out for Me” also has a morose effect.

With a sad, somber voice and defnite depressing lyrics, it is surely one of his songs to weep to on the record.

He also mentions a friend in the song that used to be his best friend and lover.

It is one of his most realistic and personal records yet.

The song started with a strong speaking beat and a good musical melody.

The record also projects strong and powerful beats that fuse with electro music.

For instance, “Get Out” contains strong Euro music with a good sense of an  R&B beat.

It is definitely a new venture to other music genre to have that stylistic aspect put into the tune.

If guitar strums with slow-jam beat are a favorite, “I Choose You” will surely satisfy music hunger.

It is accompanied with strong and soulful vocals from Mario and steady guitar strums.

The album presents a new level of R&B music.

Mario is able to be loyal to his R&B music while also pleasing the younger generation with fresh and new music.

Mario showed that it is possible to adapt and change to popularity amongst his fans and potential ones.

It is not enough to simply have a mediocre voice and to combine a solid voice with the ability to change style and rhythm is a positive change.

This album does not have explicit content such as sexually vulgar content that is usually present in R&B albums.

Originality and success seems to be in Mario’s D.N.A.

This album is recommended to those who are interested in adopting a newer sense of adaptation in the R&B world.
