WET is a violent game that is led by the character Rubi Malone.

Bethesda Studios, the company that has come out with many popular games, including “The Elder Scrolls” RPGs, has now come out with the Third-Person Shooter game “WET.”

The title “WET” comes from the word wetworks which is a euphemism for murder or the sort, which alludes to the hands literally being wet with blood.

“WET,” which has come out for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 as a single-player game, is actually rated M for a reason.

Also, with the swearing and the limbs “falling off” every once in a while, plus a couple other reasons, this game deserves its M rating.

In this game, you play as Rubi Malone, a gun-for-hire.

While the in-depth story does get a bit “different,” the overall summary of the game is easily identified.

After Rubi has finished one of her missions, she is betrayed by the person who hired her.

After getting away, Rubi goes on a rampage, killing all who get in her way to find the man who betrayed her.

While playing through the above scenario, generally the paths in “WET” are quite linear, but there are a couple of different types of play involved.

The normal paths follow Rubi running through the area with her guns shooting at everything that moves.

Another play-type involved would be the driving scenes.

Unlike most driving scenes, where the player is actually driving, these scenes take place on top of vehicles moving at break-neck speeds.

Rubi needs to shoot the guys shooting at her without dying and while jumping from vehicle to vehicle.

The final play would be in a mode of rage.

The only goal here is to go through the level as fast as you can while acquiring the longest kill streak as possible.

The controls in “WET” are very easy to figure out and master, letting the player quickly decide and execute whatever move the player wants to make.

Since Rubi comes with a sword and a pair of guns, she can do the basic shooting towards enemies.

However, when Rubi is shooting while doing something other than running or standing around, everything will go slow-motion.

While in slow-motion, Rubi will not only be able to point a gun at a person’s head and fire, she will also pull out her second gun and auto-target another enemy, making two enemies be shot at the same time.

This game also has the three basic difficulty levels: easy, medium and hard.

However, after you have beaten the game, you will unlock an even more difficult difficulty, but also a Golden Bullet mode.

In this mode, all enemies die in one shot, but it doesn’t take too many to take out Rubi either.

The acting, graphics, and music all give “WET” a 70s action-movie feeling.

The graphics are quite detailed and a great style choice for this type of game.

In the menu, there is even an option to toggle on the film projector, giving “WET” an even closer feel to a 70’s movie.

The voice-overs and the music in “WET” are also well-done; the actors are all appropriate for their characters in the game.

The music, inspired by actual 70s music, fits the location and the action.

Even though “WET” may have a simple storyline and a couple other blips here and there, it was a very fun game to play, even without any multiplayer functions.

With its multiple difficulty levels, collection items, and challenges, “WET” also has a great replay value.

“WET” was worth the price to try it out.
