Gas prices expected to rise
With the school year coming to a close, students may have plans to travel during the summer. One thing to keep in mind is the increasing price of gas. With the hurricane season approaching and issues on the international scene, consumers are dealing with uncertainty as to how much they will be paying each time they fill their tanks.
Indonesian Kitchen serves food and fun
The Indonesian Student Organization organized Indonesian Kitchen 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Atwood Brickyard.
The theme for the night was "Waroeng Perdjoeangan," which means the war of independence.
They put a dipped flag on every table to represent the symbol of independence.

In more than 23 countries, same-sex civil union rights have been established in law. In nations such as Canada, South Africa and Spain same-sex marriages have even been made legal.
Having the reputation as being a fast progressing country we are lacking in issues of major concern behind the rest of the world.
