BAGHDAD, Iraq -- An Iraqi city council chief was shot and killed Saturday.
Witnesses said Sami Naib al-Jumaili, Falluja City Council chairman, was killed in a drive-by shooting outside his home.
It is currently unclear who committed the crime, but it is assumed to be the work of Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda has recently been launching terror campaigns against politicians cooperating with American or Iraqi officials.
