Issue date: 4/30/07 Section: Briefly
WASHINGTON -- Former Vikings wide receiver Randy Moss was traded to the New England Patriots Sunday.
After two below-average seasons for Moss, the Oakland Raiders sent the receiver to the Patriots in exchange for a fourth round draft pick.
Last season, Moss made it clear he wished to be dealt to another team and had expressed interest in both the Patriots and the Green Bay Packers.
Moss is a five-time Pro Bowler, and now will be teamed up with All-Pro quarterback Tom Brady.
