Seniors cancel drug trips to Canada

Minneapolis, Minn. -- For the past 12 years the Minnesota senior citizens group organized regular trips to Canada to buy cheaper prescription drugs. Last Friday, they may have made their last trip.
Picking up three months worth of prescriptions for 26 seniors, they saved an estimated 40 percent from Twin Cities retail prices.
In 2001, U.S. Sen. Mark Dayton pledged his Senate salary to fund them, but the money ended when Dayton didn't seek re-election last year.
She suffered injuries on her legs, hands and arms that will likely require skin grafts.
