Religion has become just a wealthy business

The ultimate cult has gone too far.

Since Christianity was started, many disgusting and hypocritical things have happened to make the religious goals a fallacy, and now in 2007, they have taken the aspect of money to a whole new level.

In the history books, the piles of pages stack up with proof of horrendous situations not only portrayed  by Christians but also taught to new believers.

Look at the current pope, he was a Nazi Youth. And during WWII, the pope at the time turned his head to watch the fury slaughter millions of people.

These are two examples of a sickness that is overlooked when people drop their money into the hat.

But now the so-called hat is made out of plastic of sorts.

Now, many churches across the country are accepting credit cards to give money to their church.

Many churches force/ask people to give a certain amount of money to worship at their establishment.

But this theory is actually made up and against the teaching of Christ.

Jesus did not say "Giveth all you have via ATM."

No, Jesus actually said, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." (According to Matthew 19:21-24.)

So why are priests, fathers, preachers and many other religious figures driving Lexus' or Escalades to tell the word of God.

On the Web, there are numerous Web sites to give to your church. A scam?

Certainly looks like it. It is fine if people want to worship a deity they have never seen before, nor have proof of its existence, but why give so much money to an organization where you have no idea where the money will end up.
