MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Minnesota Vikings are in desperate need of around 2,500 fans to purchase tickets, otherwise Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons will be blacked out.

The smallest crowd in the Metrodome occurred during a 1998 pre-season game. After the game, the Vikings began what has become 96-game sellout streak.

They have not been blacked out since Dec. 21, 1997, when only 54,107 tickets were sold for a match-up against the Indianapolis Colts.
