In order to allow the Chronicle to fully reach the SCSU audience, it is in search of editorial board writers.
Experience is not needed to write on the board, and everyone is welcome.
The board is looking for all interested parties, including faculty and students; as long as you have something to say on a regular basis, and feel the need to say it in print on a regular basis, let us know you are interested.
All that is necessary is a willingness to speak up for what you want or believe in.
It does not matter if you are a freshman or a senior, a brand new faculty member or one who's seen 20 year's worth of students, we want to hear what you have to say.
The editorial board meets Wednesdays and Sundays at 12:30 p.m. The meetings generally last around 20 to 30 minutes, so not having enough time to come down and share your opinion is not an excuse.
The board is not looking for any particular party or group affiliation; in fact, we are seeking out the most varied group to make up this opinion-forming body.
So if you feel like your voice is not being heard on campus or in the community, joining the editorial board is a perfect way to stand out from the college and city crowd.
Now is the time to make a difference, so either put up or shut up.
Anyone interested in learning more about the editorial board or what it takes to become a member can e-mail opinions editor Andy Downs at doan0302@stcloudstate.edu or can call the Chronicle office at 308-4086.
