BATNA, Algeria -- A crowd waiting to see Algeria's president in the town of Batna was terrorized after a bomb was detonated, killing at least 14 and wounding 60 others.
The bomb went off about 15 minutes prior to the president's expected arrival.
Despite the attack, Algerian President Abdel-Aziz Bouteflika visited the city as planned, but made an additional stop at a hospital to visit those wounded by the attack.
