ST. PAUL, Minn. - After a special session dedicated to flood relief, residents of southern Minnesota found out the state would help them, as many residents did not have insurance.
Close to $160 million of aid will be used to help victims of the flood. Today, the flood bill funds were sent to the seven federal disaster areas designated to receive funds.
