KABUL, Afghanistan - Over the weekend, two Italian military personnel went missing, along with two Afghan staff members.
The last time the two missing Italians communicated to their base was Saturday night.
Both soldiers, along with their Afghan driver and translator, also drove through a police checkpoint Saturday in the Shindand district of Herat.
Police are continuing their search for all four people.
