Saturday evening in Atwood Ballroom, students and community members gathered to celebrate the Chinese Moon Festival presented by the China Club and the International Chinese Student Association.

The Moon Festival takes place each year on the 15th day of the eighth moon, around the time of the autumn equinox.

Because it is a time for families to get together, Chinese students, who are far from their own families, wanted to share the day with the St. Cloud community.

The event featured many activity booths ranging from dance to tea to kung-fu, and the event drew students and community members from all walks of life.

The festival was free and open to the public.
