SOMALIA -- The Los Angeles Times reported tens of thousands of Somalis fled from the violence in Mogadishu, only to face mass starvation.
Close to 1.5 million people are in search of relief. UNICEF estimated 83,000 children in central and southern Somalia are starving, and some 13,500 refugees are facing death, due to lack of food and water.
