'Letters' area needs voice
Thomas Housh
Issue date: 9/27/07 Section: Opinions

Once upon a time, there was a section in this paper called "Letters to the Editor."
It was a nifty little section for the everyday Johnny or Suzy to put their two cents in on the controversial, relevant or brilliant topics that are covered twice a week.
Complaints, compliments and suggestions were insightful, plus they showed interest in a student-run, pre-occupational newspaper that is created with hard work.
This section does still exist. The only thing missing are willing participants who have opinions. That's you!
With all due respect, does anyone read or write in their spare time? No offense, but is it possible to be that busy of an introvert?
Would someone please cast judgment (positive or negative) on any portion of this newspaper?
I have so many more questions I would love to ask, but have neither the time nor the space allotted. So in that case, I'm just going to encourage or offend everyone without actually doing either of those things and hope someone wants their name in the paper.
Humor me; let it be known there are actually copies of the Chronicle that don't sit in their distribution spots collecting dust as curious eyes only give glances at cover stories and pictures.
It only takes a few people to set a trend - everyone should know that - and this is a trend that, I can assure you, will make the life of an editing staff much easier.
