MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The Twin Cities Marathon started at 8 a.m. Saturday morning near the Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis.
Runners made their way from the Metrodome to the finish line at the State Capitol in St. Paul.
It was unusually muggy weather for October. Humidity was near 60 percent.
More than 10,500 people registered for the marathon.
another 55-hundred are running an accompanying 10-mile race. The male and female winners both get $25,000.
