BUDAPEST, Hungary - Yu Nakajima of Japan won the 2007 Rubik's Cube world championship Sunday.
The 16-year-old was able to put the 3 x 3 cube together in an average time of 12.46 seconds.
For winning, he was awarded $7,000.
Andrew Kang of the United States set the best time for a single attempt with a time of 10.88. seconds. The world record is 9.86 seconds, held since May by Thibaut Jacquinot of France.
