Beginning this semester, SCSU students have a new option for late night transportation. St. Cloud Metro Bus, in a contractual relationship with SCSU, has implemented the "Late Nite" service from 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. When it will run The plan is for the service, which began last Thursday, to run only when SCSU is in session from September through May.
Fifth Avenue will lose a piece of its most treasured heritage today as Hemsing's Deli & Sandwich Shop closes its doors for good after being bought out by chain-giant, Subway Restaurants. Hemsing's Deli saw a 12 percent sales increase from 2006 to 2007, proving the deli was still making progress as it approached its final stretch.
