License plate sells for $14 million

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Saeed Khouri, a member of a wealthy Abu Dhabi family, purchased a license plate with nothing but the number "1" on it for a record $14 million at a charity auction Saturday.
Proceeds from the auctions, which have been going on since May, go to a rehabilitation center for victims of traffic accidents.
Ninety license plates were auctioned off Saturday, raising a total of $24 million.
