Public Safety need to be more safe

Have you ever ridden in the public safety car and the people driving it were worse drivers then your 15 year old sibling, for the first time behind the wheel? I HAVE! And, its not been only one or two times, its been, many many more. Numerous times I have got into the back seat of the nice, Public Safety vehicle, cause parking and walking from Q-Lot is just, too far.

Well, in each of those events when I have ridden with Public Safety, I’ve needed to fasten up and say the Lord’s prayer over and over again, so we don’t crash.

Okay, so not that dramatic but, close enough. You ask, why do I do that? Well if you have ever ridden with public safety they are nice people but they are some pretty S----- drivers. Maybe its the need to speed?! or the, “I’m public safety so I can speed” attitude. Well in any event, their need for speed is not necessary. I believe Public Safety needs to look into some regulations of how they drive the state vehicles that we all pay for.

They are not “COPS”, they are Public Safety. So, I just wanted to put my input in about that factor of SCSU, and hopefully, the next time you get in the public safety car, they will drive safe, or give yourself a little prayer that you don't crash!
