According to the most recent statistics published in Alcohol Sales Digest (Feb. 2002), the effects of alcohol create a more relaxed and education-conducive environment. In line with this statistic, we, as graduate students in the history department, feel that an establishment serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is necessary to the harmonious coexistence of students on campus and the establishment of a new 'golden age' in SCSU's learning environment.
We therefore call for the student government to move forward with our call for a bar, pub or saloon on campus serving only the finest in beverages to our students of legal drinking age.
