Ms. Kelly Carlson "one right not granted to us, but falsely practiced by many, is the right to judge."
Wow. So, judgement is bad. What happens in a criminal court? What happens when assessment committees inform a community they're racist? What happens when someone corrects a sexist statement? Judgement.
What happens when a major political figure gets "bashed" by a religious group for his stance on birth control? You write an article in the school newspaper condemning, some would even call it publicly attacking and judging, the religious group while in the same column state that it is not their right to "publicly attack and judge."
Call me crazy or a jerk or whatever else, but that seems like a pretty hypocritical stance. Don't get me wrong, I think sex education is just as important as the next guy, but, on the other hand, so is judgement.
