Wisconsin woman gives kids vodka
Char Nichols, 37, was accused of child neglect in a Fond du Lac Circuit Court Tuesday after police found her children drinking vodka in her home.
The officers had responded to a call made by Nichols stating that she needed help. When they arrived, they discovered that Nichols was drunk and her 15-month-old child was drinking vodka from a glass. Later her 4-year-old confessed that he had also been drinking. The younger child had to be taken to the hospital because of a hypoglycemic condition caused by poor nutrition and the alcohol.
Nichols plead not guilty to the misdemeanor. A pretrial conference is scheduled for March 19.
Tiger Woods sets a record in China
The number one golfer in the world is also the number one taxpayer in China.
Tiger Woods reportedly paid 4.2 million yuan ($500,000) in taxes on his appearance fee at an exhibition golf match in the southern city of Shenzhen in November. That made him the biggest taxpayer last year in the city that is one of China's richest.
Woods did not say how much he was paid for the two-day event, but many of the attending golf enthusiasts paid up to $18,000 to play against him.
