Sunshine patriots

In response to Sandra Johnson's article on the Feb. 28 Opinion page (University Chronicle). What kind of idiot are you? You said "we need to remember that the Taliban started this conflict, not us." Where have you been? Last time I checked we bombed and invaded their country not the other way around.

Uninformed people like yourself need to sit down and use your brain. How did the Taliban start this conflict? They have every right to complete sovereignty. If the United States would have had any proof that bin Laden was behind the Sept. 11 attack the Taliban would've handed him over. Because the U.S. had no actually proof, the Taliban has every right not to meet our demands.

With all of our military resources we still couldn't reach our objective. Bin Laden is still out there. I hope you enjoy having the lives of hundreds killed for no apparent reason on your conscience.

I don't think the U.S. should dictate who is running whatever country. So all of you mindless drones out there need to use your brain instead of just following the masses. In times like this it is absolutely critical to question every move our government makes. I for one am embarrassed at the actions our government has taken. We are suppose to be better than the terrorist but we kill innocent people too. But no one seems to care. I think killing is wrong in any way, shape, or form. No matter what is at stake I strongly believe that there is no justification for the taking of human life. Go ahead and waive your flags for a corrupt, and unjust government.
