New art exhibit uses motion to portray emotion

Artist Polly Norman and SCSU grad student Tom Peterson talk about her work. Her art exhibit is on display until May 13 in the Atwood Gallery and is presented by the visuals art committee of University Program Board. "My life is about motion and emotion and so is my work. I'm inspired by professional dancers who use the miracle of their strong, perfectly trashed human bodies to create art by interpreting music. I like to use repeated patterns, flowing organic strokes and brilliant colors," Norman said.
