Students deserve respect
What happened to basic human kindness and respect? As a student paying high tuition rates to attend SCSU, I am disturbed by the negative attitudes of the majority of the office personnel on this campus. The way in which students are disrespectfully treated when inquiring about their education and degree programs is appalling.
It should come as no surprise that employment as an office worker on campus means coming into contact with university students. These jobs should involve helping the students, NOT making them feel embarrassed, disgraced, or confused. The length of service of employment should not be equated with a detachment of simple manners. A smile is free; try using one.
