If this school could get it together and learn how to treat everybody with respect like many students do, we would not have to keep on paying higher tuition rates because of the ignorance and lack of education of the individuals in charge of this school. Isn't one of the benefits of higher education the fact that it is proven to give us a more tolerant mind and experience diversity and learn to accept all sorts of different people? It's ironic that the board that runs a school of higher education can't understand this concept themselves.
Maybe instead of raising the tuition of innocent students, the individuals responsible for money paid from lawsuits should lose some of their wages. Maybe I'm wrong, but don't punish the students for your mistakes. I have only a few more classes left here and if it wasn't for the ties I now have with friends at this school, I would gladly transfer to a school like UND. At least I could help fight racism that is out in the open (Fighting Sioux).
