Prosecution will seek death penalty for alleged rapists in Pakistan
Prosecutors are reportedly seeking the death penalty for four men who are accused of gang-raping a woman in Pakistan.
The woman's attorney is seeking the sentence after the men were reportedly ordered by a tribal council to punish the woman for something her brother did.
Police have arrested 18 men in connection with the rape that occurred last month in a rural tribal village. The woman's 11-year-old-brother was seen walking with a girl from a different tribe. So far her family has been given $8,000 and a school in her name.
Abducted 5-year-old California girl found dead; sexually assaulted
A 5-year-old-girl who was kidnapped in Orange County, Calif., was found dead near a rural road in what investigators are now calling a "calling card" from the killer.
Sheriffs have confirmed that Samantha Runnion was sexually assaulted and suffocated before her nude body was dumped. Her body was found about 50 miles from where she was abducted. The exact way she died has yet to be released.
Runnion was abducted monday evening by a man who is believed to be a serial killer.
