SCSU student found after search
St. Cloud police officers were dispatched to 1635, 16th St. SE to investigate a knife complaint Saturday.�
A woman who may have been suicidal, had run from her apartment with a knife toward the woods.
She was found six hours later, soaked and lying on the ground.
The woman was not hurt and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.�
Physics teacher sues former student
Glenda Miskin, of Crookston was attending the University of North Dakota when she was accused of harassing a teacher.�
Miskin claimed that her physics teacher, John Wagner, came on to her.� However, he received over 70 e-mails and phone calls in which she expressed her love for him.
Miskin also made a web page in which she proceeded to accuse Wagner of telling her he had a sexual interest in children and he was seeking them out in church.�
Wagner sued Miskin, who acted as her own attorney, and won $3 million for libel, slander, and intentional interference with a business relationship.
Miskin is appealing to the North Dakota Supreme Court.
