* Backpacking the North Shore Hiking on the Superior Hiking Trail with Outdoor Endeavors. This trail is know for it’s rugged terrain and the activity level will be strenuous. Questions call 255-3772. Depart Friday return Sunday. Leaves at noon Oct. 25 from Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse. Cost $20.00.

* 3rd Annual Great Pumpkin 5K Fun Run & Walk Begins at the entrance to the Beaver Island Trail. 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Oct. 26. Halenbeck Hall East Door Field House. Cost $10.
