Former Chronicle editor dies Dr. Norbert F. Lindskog of St. Cloud, Minn., died Jan. 27 in Chicago, Ill. He was 70-years-old.
Lindskog grew up at the family-owned Mississippi Lodge. He received his B.S. degree in Business Education from SCSU in 1954 and went on to receive his M.S. in Business Education from SCSU in 1957.
Lindskog was named "Man of the Year" at SCSU in 1954 and an editor of the University "College Chronicle" from 1952 to 1953. He was also the editor of Talahi, the SCSU college yearbook from 1953 to 1954.
Lindskog was also a member of the SCSU Alumni Association and was nominated for the Distinguished Alumnus Award. He is survived by his sister, Sandra Hoerter.
Teens injured in snowplow accident Three teens were injured, one critically, when their car collided with a snowplow two miles south of Melrose in Stearns County Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities said a car driven by a 17-year-old girl went out of control on a curve and slid sidways into a Stearns County road grader that was plowing snow.
The driver of the car is listed in critical condition at St. Cloud Hospital with back injuries. Her two passengers, ages 17 and 18, were treated and released from Melrose Hospital.
The plow driver was not hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
