Love arrested for verbal abuse
Singer-actress Courtney Love was detained by police Tuesday as she arrived at Heathrow airport on a trans-Atlantic flight.

Love, 38, was "verbally abusive" to cabin crew during a Virgin Atlantic flight from Los Angeles.

TV channel Sky News showed pictures of Love being escorted by two officers from the plane to a police van parked on the runway. She smiled sheepishly at the camera and covered her face with her hand before getting into the back of the van.

Love had been due to attend a fundraising event at London's Old Vic theater on Wednesday along with Elton John and Kevin Spacey.

Telemarketer turns out to be long-lost dad
Riverside County, Calif. telemarketer Al Kinkade began a call to Daniel and Kellie Kinkade Tuesday and mentioned that they shared a surname.

After a little small talk, Kellie realized that her 27-year-old husband was Al Kinkade's son.

The Vista couple began searching seven years ago for Dan's father. All they had was his full name, Alfred Robert Kinkade, and two photographs of him with Dan's mother. She died of colon cancer at age 39 when Dan was nine-years-old. Dan was raised by an aunt and uncle in Los Angeles.

Al Kinkade had been hard to find because of years of substance abuse that led to homelessness. He decided to go sober on April Fool's Day in 1998.

Father and son now talk daily by phone and met since the incident.
