Development in Sartell to begin in August

Sartell City Council members approved plans Monday for commercial development in downtown Sartell. A Coborn's Superstore and strip mall will be located on Pine Cone Road and construction is set to start August first. By next spring developers plan to have the stores open for business.
The new Coborn's will employ about 200 people and be open 24 hours a day. Several restaurants have already committed to being part of the new project. Such places include a House of Pizza and Pacific Work, which serves Japanese cuisines. There are no plans to close Sartell's present Coborn's on the west side of the Mississippi River.
