Wheelchair basketball comes to Kimball

The Kimball High School gymnasium will host a wheelchair basketball event and fundraiser Aug. 9. Organized by Heidi Schwichtenberg, the event features rounds of basketball where high school and college players in wheelchairs play against disabled players from around Minnesota.
The fundraiser raffle includes several prizes valued over $1,000 including a trip to Cancun. Proceeds will be donated to the Courage Center's wheelchair basketball program and used to start a St. Cloud area wheelchair basketball team.
