Opposers should consider benefits
A recent vote concerning students' social lives should come into effect about mid-November.
The city council approved a law that will allow St. Cloud bars to remain open until 2 a.m. - one hour later than the present closing time. Starting Nov. 1, establishments have the option to apply to stay open the extra hour.
Baseball offers crazy memories
Unlike most students, I do not want the month of September to end. I loathe Oct. 1 because it signifies the temporary death of baseball's regular season. Lying dormant and quiet through the winter months without the national past-time is most uncomfortable for me.
