SCSU reclaims Training Kit

MANKATO - Revenge is sweet.

After last year's 41-40 loss to Minnesota State University-Mankato, The SCSU football team wanted nothing more than to travel to Mankato to take home what they saw as rightfully theirs: the Traveling Training Kit.

Much to the hopes of Husky football fans everywhere, the Huskies did just that and tucked a 41-6 win under their conference belts.

Huskies split NCC road series

Sophomore Jamie Schlagel makes a play at the net during during the Huskies’ Friday night match against the University of South Dakota.  The Huskies lost the match three games to one, but ended up splitting the weekend with a win over the University of Nebraska Omaha.
The women's volleyball team continued its consistent effort and production this weekend, going on the road for two games against divisional opponents.

The squad fought hard Friday night against the University of South Dakota, but came back home on the losing end of a four game match.

Crew fairs well in Des Moines regatta

The Women’s Novice eight, coxswained by Debbie Peterson, placed sixth out of 15 boats at the Head of  the Des Moines Regatta.
One of SCSU longest running club teams began competition last weekend.

The SCSU Crew team, which has been around for over 25 years, is looking to make its mark on the river.

Thanks to a large amount of newcomers, the SCSU rowing club now has close to 50 members.

T-wolves on their way

This week the 2003-2004 Timberwolves begin training camp at St. John's.

Unless you are a huge Timberwolves fan, you will not recognize this team from the one that took the Lakers to six games in the spring. Gone are such long-time Timberwolves as Anthony Peeler, Joe Smith, Terrell Brandon, and Rasho Nesterovic.
