I'm tired of people who whine a lot

There seems to be a rising trend in bitching. I'm not talking about the ordinary "my feet hurt" or "I'm hungry" type of complaints. But the grumbles I frequently hear are just as asinine.
Now you might be thinking, "God, she's bitching about bitching," but I really just can't take it anymore. The people spouting these trivial protests are all too often those who really don't have much to whine about. There are the ones whose Mommy pays for their car payments, Daddy pays for rent and the combined parental unit foots the college bill. They don't work, and they are taking relatively few classes.
I'm not criticizing those who receive financial support from their parents; I'd take it if it were offered. I just think that if you have it as easy as this, you should at least appreciate what you have. And many people do have this appreciation; it's only the few who really get under my skin with their constant whining about never having money, or being bored all the time, or not finding a party on a Thursday night. Get a job; or better yet, a life.
These individuals are so used to having their hand held in life that when it comes to petty responsibilities their whole world crashes down and I'm the one who hears it. Most of us are adults now, and I would hope that means taking on a few more responsibilities and realizing Mommy and Daddy won't always be there to kiss your boo-boo.
I fear for the future generations who are even more used to having that immediate satisfaction of this fast-paced Internet, drive-thru culture. What will they think of a little hard work and effort when it comes time they leave the nest? I worry about them, but mostly I worry about us. We are the future CEOs and editors, tomorrow's teachers and governors. It's time we cut the umbilical cord and grow up.
