In front of the first sellout crowd in Husky Stadium history, SCSU achieved a few other firsts on the field in the 21-17 victory over no. 2 ranked North Dakota Saturday night.
The win marked the first time the Huskies beat UND in St. Cloud. While the Fighting Sioux were a perfect 10-0 at Selke Field in a streak dating back to 1983, the Huskies ushered in a new era with a win in Husky Stadium.

Entering the weekend match against sixth-ranked University of Minnesota-Duluth, the Huskies aimed to continue their three-match winning streak against a conference power, but were unsuccessful losing three games to none.
Having already equaled last season's 11 victories, the Huskies had hopes of proving to the home crowd at Halenbeck Hall that they belong among the elite of the nation.

SCSU soccer has hit a few bumps this season. Most recently hitting a losing streak that has accumulated to four games.
SCSU lost a pair of home games this weekend to drop to 0-2 in the conference.
The Huskies lost 4-1 to the 14 -ranked University of Nebraska-Omaha and in the process, ended a streak of not scoring a goal in any losses this season.
