More than 500 students, guests and members of the community gathered Saturday night in the Atwood Ballroom for SCSU's annual celebration of Indian heritage.
Crossing the entrance threshold of the ballroom, arriving guests were greeted by India Heritage Club members who, in traditional Indian style, dotted the center of their foreheads with red paint as a sign of welcoming.

What would happen when the man thought to have perhaps the most lucidly beautiful voice in music collaborates with some old pros from the blind belt whose deep harmony moves the soul?
The skies of heaven would open and we would all flow on eternally, like sunshine in a river of happiness right?
At least that's what Virgin records would have us believe.
