Sudden outbursts of gut-laughter reverberated through the acoustic-friendly walls of Ritsche auditorium Wednesday night while the CSOLD (Center for Student Organizations and Leadership Development) sponsored comedians Owen Smith and Sonya White slung jokes and insights to the Spring Kick-off student crowd.

A student using the pseudonym "Air America" flew over the competition to win the first SCSU Halo Tournament held in the Atwood ballroom Saturday afternoon.
Forty gamers participated in the single elimination contest sponsored by Interfraternal Council. Four XBOX consoles were linked together on projection screens as 16 players at a time attempted to score the most kills in Halo's free-for-all multiplayer game, Slayer.

Since he was a boy growing up in Mexico City, Mexico, Xavier Tavera has loved taking pictures. A self-taught photographer, Tavera used photos to record family memories. These memories take center stage in the exhibit on display in the Kiehle Gallery titled "Tiera Atras" or "Background," this exhibit is about 'family absence and presence.

The Residential Hall Association (RHA) held its second annual "Sing into Spring" karaoke night at the Atwood Quarry Thursday. The evening began with a taco bar sponsored by Aramark, and continued with all-you-can-drink mocktails and Karaoke.
Music could be heard outside Atwood's doors and students walked at warp speed to take part in the action.
